Why slugs matter for SEO
A slug is the last part of a URL — like /best-pizza-recipes. Clean slugs are easier for people to read, share and remember, and search engines use the words in them as a ranking signal. This tool lowercases your text, strips accents and symbols, and joins words with hyphens (Google's recommended separator).
