What can a QR code contain?
Anything text-based: website links, phone numbers (tel:+1234567890), email addresses (mailto:you@site.com), plain text, or Wi-Fi credentials. When scanned with any phone camera, the content opens instantly.
Tips for QR codes that scan well
- Keep the content short — shorter data means a simpler, more scannable code
- For print, download at 500×500 or larger
- Always leave the white border (quiet zone) intact
- Test with a real phone before printing 500 flyers
QR codes never expire and are free to use commercially.
